Moonstone (Pachyphytum oviferum)

Moonstone, also known as Pachyphytum oviferum, is a stunning succulent with thick, egg-shaped leaves that form dense rosettes. The leaves are a soft, pale blue-gray with a powdery coating, giving it a moon-like appearance. When stressed by sunlight or cooler temperatures, the plant may take on a light pink or lavender hue, adding to its charm.

Care Tips:

Light: Prefers bright, indirect sunlight. Can tolerate some direct sun but should be protected from harsh afternoon rays.

Water: Water sparingly and allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot.

Soil: Needs well-draining soil. A cactus or succulent mix with good drainage is recommended.

Temperature: Thrives in temperatures between 60°F to 85°F (15°C to 29°C). Protect from frost.

Propagation: Can be easily propagated from leaves or stem cuttings. Let the cut ends callous before planting.
